Guwahati: FCI, New Delhi blanked Neyveli Lignite Corporation Ltd, Tamil Nadu 3-0 in a All-India Public Sector Football Tournament match at Nehru Stadium on Wednesday. Moidul Mullah, Thomson Langthasa and Hemanta Brahma scored a goal each in the 21st, 28th and 48th minutes respectively. FCI will meet hosts ONGC, Mumbai, in the final on Thursday.

Imphal: The double pair of Romen Singh and Brojen Singh rode into the final of the Men’s Open in the Winter Clay Court Tennis Tournament at IDTA Lamphelpat court. In the semi-final encounter today, the pair of Romen and Brojen defeated Ibohal Singh and Biju in straight sets of 4-0, 4-2 to storm into the final. In another semi-final match, Premjit Singh and his partner Leelenjai defeated T. Panmei and Joy Singh 4-1, 5-3.
