Bag boy

Calcutta, Jan. 3: A boy, believed to be between five to six months old, was found lying on a plastic bag in the park at Salt Lake’s CF block. Its cries caught the attention of a local youth who alerted other residents. The baby is at BC Roy Children's Hospital.

Midnapore: Lalgarh tribals have resumed their protest against alleged police atrocities. A road was dug up and many were blocked.
