What: Ledger’s last performance, this Gilliam film about a travelling theatre company adds a surreal twist to the Faustian fantasy. After Ledger’s untimely death, Depp, Law and Farrell chipped in for the same role, making the project more exciting

What: Five years after Million Dollar Baby, Eastwood returns with a heart-warming story of a war veteran and his prized possession — a 1972 Gran Torino (an all-American roadster)

What: The rare superhero release of 2009, the film is a prequel to the X-Men trilogy with Jackman essaying the role of Wolverine

What: The hit combination of Scott and Crowe is back with a revisionist tale on the prince of thieves, but with a difference. Crowe plays dual roles of the good Robin Hood as well as his nemesis, the evil Sheriff of Nottingham

Cast: Scarlett Johansson, Javier Bardem, Rebecca Hall, Penelope Cruz
What: A philosophical comedy set in Barcelona, Scarlett and Rebecca play two young Americans, both enamoured by charismatic painter Javier, with serious consequences
