Thieves arrested

Fancy Bazar police arrested two pickpockets on Monday. The duo, Saju Ali and Abul Ali, have been arrested earlier also on similar charges.

Saju hails from Dhirenpara and Abdul from Mangoldoi.

Eviction drive

The NF Railway on Monday carried out an eviction drive at Patharquarry to remove the illegal slums that had come up along the railway track and on a vacant railway plot.
