Murder
Cachar, Dec. 15:
A housewife, Suprabha Das, 40, was murdered at Bhatigram in Cachar district last night. Her husband Naresh Das filed an FIR naming three of his neighbours, Netai Das, Krishna Das and Haradhan Das, as the assailants, police said.
Land dispute
Karimganj:
A 50-year-old man, Abdul Khalon, died and six others were seriously injured in a clash between two groups over a plot of land at Ushnabad village in Karimganj on Sunday.
