Kathmandu, Dec. 2: Chinese foreign minister Yang Jiechi arrived in Kathmandu for a three-day official visit this evening.

Yang, who is leading a 10-member team to Nepal, is scheduled to hold talks with his foreign minister Upendra Yadav and meet Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda.

According to foreign ministry officials, the talks would focus on bilateral cooperation between the two nations and prepare the groundwork for Prachanda’s visit to Beijing.
