Imphal, Nov. 26: Posterior Hockey Academy, Manipur will clash with Manipur Police Sports Club in the final of the 2nd G. Khelchandra Men’s Open Hockey Tournament on Friday at the Khuman Lampak hockey stadium here.

In the first semi-final today, Posterior Hockey Academy took the life out of the Cosmopolitan Youth Club players with their agility and speed, thumping the latter 7-3. Kh. Ravikanta Singh, who scored four brilliant goals for the winners, was in a class of his own.

The Posterior Hockey team drew first blood in the third minute of play through Ravikanta Singh. However, Cosmopolitan managed to equalise in the 17th minute with M. Mirple’s shot hitting the net.

But two minutes later, Posterior struck back through K. Devkishore Singh. Thereafter, Kh. Kothajit Singh secured Posterior’s third goal in the 34th minute.

Resuming in the second half, Posterior dominated proceedings. Ravikanta Singh and Sh. Nilakanta scored in the space of two minutes to consolidate the team’s lead. However, Cosmopolitan player L.
