Ranchi, Nov. 26: Nitin Madan Kulkarni has been posted as the new tribal welfare commissioner while Puja Singhal Purwar is the new transport commissioner.

Puja, short-listed for Prime Minister’s Excellence Award, was posted as the joint-secretary in the planning department. Kulkarni, who was earlier posted as the managing director of the Adityapur Industrial Area Development Authority (Aiada), will also hold the additional charge of project director of Jharkhand Aids Control Society.

East Singhbhum deputy commissioner Ravindra Kumar Agarwal was given the additional charge of Aiada MD.

North Chhotangpur divisional commissioner Arvind Kumar Pandey, who holds the additional charge of the Palamau division, has also been given the charge of Santhal Pargana division.

The government also declared animal husbandry and fisheries department principal secretary Aditya Swaroop’s transfer to Dumka in the capacity of Santhal Pargana divisional commissioner as null and void. Jayant Munigala was made the controller of examinations at Jharkhand Combined Entrance Examinations.

Ranchi deputy commissioner Rajeev Arun Ekka was given the additional charge of agriculture marketing board managing director. Industry department director Rahul Sharma was given the additional charge of Ranchi Industrial Area Development Authority while K. Srinavasan got the additional charge of district magistrate (law and order).
