What to do this weekend
Drop in for your fill of folklore at the two-day North East Regional Folk Tales Festival at Badungduppa Kala Kendra, Goalpara. Eminent playwright Arun Sharma will inaugurate the festival.
Lectures
Attend the lectures on Preparation for Marriage at 1pm and How to Stay Married, organised by the North East Bible Institute, in collaboration with the Rynjah Church of Christ, at Don Bosco Youth Centre at 2pm.
Symposium
Participate in the symposium on Present Global Economic Crisis and its impact in India at DKD College, Dergaon, under the aegis of the DKD College Economic Forum. Noted economist Dilip K. Baruah will deliver the lecture at 11am.
Dog show
Canine lovers are due for a treat at the 4th Open Dog Show, organised by the Guwahati Kennel Club, at Gitanagar High School playground on Zoo Narengi Road in Guwahati on Sunday.
Meeting
