Chirodini... Tumi Je Aamar bagged the Best Film award, which Jeet gave away to lead pair Rahul and Priyanka. “I haven’t seen Chirodini... yet but I have heard it’s a good film,” said Jeet, smiling at the reel and real lovebirds. The two walked away with the Best Actor and Best Actress trophies as well. “I want to thank Priyanka for the (Best Actor) award. She stood by me when I could only afford jhaalmuri for her,” beamed Rahul.

Hiran, the shy and quiet boy from Behala, won the Best Action Hero award for Nabab-Nandini. “It feels great to be recognised! I will work harder from now,” he dimpled.

Star of the night Prachi Desai rocked in a short, bright red dress. All eyes were on the Rock On!! girl as she daintily walked the red carpet. Later, Prachi posed for pictures and gave autographs to a bunch of fans.

Lady in red Aparajita Ghosh Das won the Best Hairstyle award for Chalo Let’s Go...! “I want to thank Anjanda (Dutt) and Chalo Let’s Go... for the award,” she smiled.

Sandip Vyas set the show rolling in the Science City auditorium with foot-tapping tracks from Kidnap.

Babul Supriyo softened the mood, crooning romantic tracks like Khoya khoya chand and Hoyto tomari jonyo.

Debleena Dutt and Rimjhim Mitra were the first to hit the dance floor at the cocktails and dinner party at ITC The Sonar Calcutta. Rimjhim made quite a style statement with her knee-length black tunic and fiery red jacket. Debleena matched up with her sequinned, lipstick-red strappy dress.
