Somdev slips three spots

New Delhi: An unexpected loss in the qualifying competition of the Champaign Challenger has prolonged Somdev Dev Varman’s wait to break into the top-200 as the Indian Davis Cupper slipped three places to 204 in the latest ATP rankings issued on Monday.

In doubles, Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes remained at sixth and 10th place, respectively.

In the women’s ranking, out of action Sania Mirza hung on to the 99th spot.
