Enchanted

Director: Kevin Lima

It is a classic Disney fairytale set in modern-day New York City about a real fairytale princess sent to our world by an evil queen. The beautiful princess Giselle, all animated, is sent tumbling down a magical well and shoots out of a Manhattan manhole. Her views on life and love begin to change after meeting a handsome lawyer and his daughter.

Cast: Amy Adams (Giselle), Patrick Dempsey (Robert Philip), James Marsden (Prince Edward) and Rachel Covey (Morgan Philip)

You can also watch: Another sweet Disney venture Wall-E and embark on a journey to the future with this garbage-collecting robot named Wall-E and his lady love Eve, a sleek she-robot. The Chronicles

The chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

Director: Andrew Adamson

A year after their first adventure in Narnia, Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy are pulled back in by Susan’s magic horn. They find that hundreds of years have passed, and Narnia is now ruled by the bloodthirsty General Miraz. With the help of a heroic mouse called Reepicheep, and the exiled heir to the throne, Prince Caspian, they set out to overthrow the King.

Cast: Ben Barnes (Prince Caspian), Georgie Henley (Lucy), Skandar Keynes (Edmund), William Moseley (Peter), Anna Popplewell (Susan), Sergio Castellitto (King Miraz)

You can also watch: The first part of the Narnia series — The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. The entire Harry Potter series would be just as great a watch today, though that would take very long...

Ratatouille

Director: Brad Bird

Remy the rat wants to become the greatest chef in Paris. He believes in the maxim “Anyone can cook”, which is also the name of a book by five-star chef Gusteau, his idol. This is a rather difficult dream for a rat. But opportunity knocks when a young boy Linguini, who desperately needs to keep his job at the restaurant despite his lack of cooking abilities, discovers and partners the young Remy. It’s up to the two of them to avoid the insane head chef Anton Ego, bring the rest of Remy’s family up to his standard, win his partner a girl, and, of course, produce the finest Ratatouille in all of France.

Cast: Patton Oswalt (Remy’s voice), Lou Romano (Linguini’s voice), Peter ’Toole (Anton Ego’s voice)

You can also watch: Finding Nemo, Happy Feet, Madagascar, and the Ice Age films. You’ll love the little creatures out there too.

Little Miss Sunshine

Directors: Jonathan Dayton, Valerie Faris

Seven-year-old Olive Hoover wants to win a beauty pageant. But her family is so burdened with their own problems that they can barely make it through a day without some disaster befalling them. Still the entire family takes to the road in an old run-down VW to reach Olive to the contest...

Cast: Abigail Breslin (Olive Hoover), Greg Kinnear (Richard Hoover), Paul Dano (Dwayne), Alan Arkin (Grandpa Edwin Hoover), Toni Collette (Sheryl Hoover)
