Bengal bundled out for 210

Calcutta: A 75-run ninth wicket partnership between Ritam Kundu and Ranadeb Bose saved Bengal the blushes as they were bundled out for 210 in their first innings of the Ranji Trophy plate group match against Madhya Pradesh in Gwalior on Monday.

In reply, Madhya Pradesh were four for one at the end of the day’s play.

Allrounder Ritam top-scored for Bengal with a patient 66 off 111 balls. Ranadeb, made only 14 but stayed at the crease to see off 77 crucial deliveries.

Bengal were reduced to 135 for the loss of eight wickets at one point.
