You only had winning on your mind when you went in. Disappointed to be evicted?
No, no I am not at all disappointed. If it was two weeks earlier I would have been disappointed. But the last couple of weeks, the house became very negative and dirty. I was relieved to get out of the house.
Will it be right to say that Bigg Boss is a place where the best man wins theory doesnt work?
(Laughs) Its not a case of best or worst because it will be very egoistic of me to say I was the best. All I can say is that I had a really good time. And I would have still be having fun inside the house if not for the last couple of weeks.
Can you elaborate on these two weeks?
See, right now, it is the time for the finals. We are really close to the final winner. So, there are lots of manipulations happening inside. And theres no value left in relationships. I can take anything but if the value of relationships is gone, I cant take it and theres no other place you can go… You have to stay inside the house.
What exactly was on between Ashutosh and you?
I shall tell you that theres nothing between the two of us. We are just friends. Its a very strong friendship, a lovely friendship. He is full of nautanki and bachpana. Thats all it is. If there was ever anything else between us, I would have no reason to hide it because I am single. Who am I afraid of? Its just friendship, which we plan to carry on after the show.
Anybody else whose number you took before leaving the house?
Theres Payal and then theres Sambhavana.
One wouldnt have expected ex-Miss World Diana Hayden to get along really well with Bhojpuri cinemas item girl Sambhavana or a dhaba owner like Ashutosh…
We would talk about it and we would laugh. Its the strangest two people to become friends. And I thought about it myself and I saw that the one common thing between all the friendships that I have forged in my life is honesty. I found that in Ashu and when he won that award for his honesty, it just reconfirmed that.
You must have had the toughest time adjusting inside. What new things did you learn?
I learnt how to cook properly, thoroughly. I learnt how to make rotis… how to make rotis directly on the gas. Even Sambhavana, who is an ace cook, doesnt know how to do that. Then I learnt how to wash bed sheets… I washed 18 of them in one day! Then I learnt how to sing without any inhibition, without being ashamed, completely out of tune… (laughs).
And what did you learn about yourself?
As much as you think you have a limit, you can push yourself beyond that limit. A simple thing like my tea. I used to believe that I couldnt get up in the morning and not have the particular tea that I have. And they knew that and they wouldnt send my particular tea bag, a herbal tea bag. Thats just one thing but you realise that there so many things you feel you cannot live without but not really… not really… Materialistic things are not important… not really!
Who should win from here?
I would vote for Ashu. First of all he is a friend of mine. And second, people should keep in mind when they vote that somebodys life is going to be changed. Its a lot of money to a lot of people, not to everybody, in the house. That sense of responsibility should be there.
