Ex-NDFB man killed

Kokrajhar, Nov. 6: Unidentified assailants shot dead one Gayaram Boro alias Gayong, 30, a surrendered NDFB militant at Silbari in Baksa district at 11.50am today.

Police sources said four persons came on two bikes and chased Boro at a construction site where he was working and shot him from close range.

Ulfa arrest

Sivasagar: The Army apprehended an Ulfa linkman, Bogeshwar Pangi, from Chenimara village under Sivasagar police station on Wed-nesday night.
