German rape trial

Panaji, Nov. 1 (PTI): A German girl, who was allegedly raped by Goa education minister’s son Rohit, today deposed in camera before a judicial magistrate. Police said they would arrest all accused named by the 14-year-old.

Train mishap

Barrackpore: A 21-year-old college student was crushed under the Teesta Torsha Express at Belghoria on Saturday. Government Railway Police said Jibandip Kundu did not notice the train approaching while crossing the tracks.

Cyclist killed

Calcutta: A speeding 3C/1 bus killed a cyclist near the Manicktala intersection on Saturday. Kanu Basak, 35, was declared dead on arrival at RG Kar Hospital.
