Indians lose

Calcutta: Australia have taken an early advantage in their series against India with a comfortable win at Hurstville Oval in Sydney on Friday afternoon.

In the battle between the top two ranked teams in women’s cricket, the Aussies outplayed country-region India in all facets to cruise past the victory target of 184 with 12 overs to spare.

Earlier, Australia produced a disciplined effort with the ball and besides a 61-run partnership between Goswani and Rumeli Dhar, the Indians were unable to disrupt the Australians rhythm enough to take control.
