Ethnic textile

North East Ethnic Textile Design exhibition-cum-sale under the aegis of the department of art and culture of Nagaland and the North East ZonalCultural Centre, Dimapur, at the State Academy Hall, Kohima, under the theme Threads of Prosperity.

Function

Inaugural programme of Public Information Campaign on Bharat Nirman and other flagship programmes of the Centre at the Don Bosco School Conference Hall in Wokha district. The programme will be held for three days.

Seminar

A two-day national seminar on Toxicity of Chemicals and their Hazards with Special Reference to Heavy Metals, organised by St Edmund’s College, Shillong in the college auditorium. Vice-chancellor of North Eastern Hill University P. Tandon will address the inaugural session at 9am.

Crafts

A crafts bazaar sponsored by development commissioner (handicrafts) going on at Wokha public ground.

Meeting

Meeting of Western Sumi Students Union at its union office at Thahekhu, Kohima.

Standards

World Standards Day organised by the Bureau of Indian Standards at 10am at Hotel Rajmahal. A seminar on Intelligent and Sustainable Buildings will be held on the occasion.
