Accident

B>n Nagaon, Oct. 20: Three people were killed and 25 injured when a Nagaon-bound bus from Dhing overturned and fell off the road at Rajali under Jajori police station this morning. itu Deuri and Sharat Baruah died on the spot, while the third person is yet to be identified.

Forest death

B>n Nagaon: A woodcutter, Rupsing Tokbi, was killed and four of his companions arrested when forest guards of Hamren division opened fire on them at Amreng in Karbi Anglong on Monday.

IED found

B>n Kokrajhar: Police recovered two IEDs, each weighing 5kg, from Duttapur in Barpeta and arrested two persons on Monday after receiving specific information about a hideout.
