Ranchi, Oct. 20: The Jharkhand Motion Picture Association (JPMA) would be felicitating the budding cine stars and the video album makers of the state on November 6 at Ranchi Club.

The association would hold its 3rd Jharkhand Cine Kala Award ceremony to honour the established artistes of the state and encourage the budding ones.

B.N Tiwary, the president of association said that the actors, directors and producers of the state should make the function a success in order to promote the work done in the state. This year, we are expecting tough contest as a number of films and albums have received good response from the viewers, he added.

The award function would be jointly organised by Prayas and Kuch Khas Event.

Tiwary added that those artistes interested in nomination for the awards could send their entries along with a compact disk containing their work. “Among the nominees, the best four would be awarded,” said the president.

During the award ceremony, the video clippings of the selected artists would be displayed.

We would be giving life time achievement award also which would be titled Jhollywood Ke Pitamah, he added.
