Maid kills herself

Krishnagar, Oct. 20: A 12-year-old domestic help hanged herself in Nadia’s Ranaghat last night and her mother has blamed her employers — a forest department clerk and his wife.

Sudipta Halder was found dead in Asim Banerjee’s house. The Banerjees and their two children are missing.

Barasat: Alauddin Mollah, the headmaster of a local madarsa in Basirhat’s Haroa, was shot dead during a CPM-Trinamul clash on Monday. Mollah was known to be a CPM supporter.
