The Natural Way

I follow the simple routine of cleansing, toning and moisturising. I don’t stick to brands. I use products from Aroma Magic by Blossom Kochhar, Kaya and also a face wash from Body Shop. I go for a hair spa once or twice a month. Mostly, I try to keep it clean and frizz-free. I hardly ever use natural products since I do not get the time. Moreover, I like to be pampered at the salon rather than doing it myself at home!

I am a 22-year-old woman. My hair is sticky and greasy and I am losing hair at an alarming rate. I also have dandruff. I had undergone homeopathic treatment but it hasn’t helped. How can I keep my hair oil-free and non-sticky? I have been using Himalaya Oil-Free shampoo.

Switch to another brand since the shampoo you are using might not be suiting your hair. Always buy a smaller pack first to see whether it suits you. Your hairloss is due to dandruff. So keep your scalp clean at all times. Drink plenty of water. Oil your hair with coconut oil and then apply the juice of a lemon. Follow it with turban therapy. Do this once a week.

I am a 14-year-old girl. In the last few months, there has been a spurt of hair growth, particularly in my arms and feet. I don’t want to use a hair remover. Please help.

Get the area waxed. It is too late to use a natural uptan to deter hair growth.
