Cosmetic touches

No more asking relatives abroad to get you the year’s supply of fancy cosmetics. International cosmetics biggie MAC is here in town. The cosmetics giant opened its first store in Forum Mall recently and launched its new collection, Cult of Cherry.

The Cult mantra is ‘sweet and seductive’. Wear your Russian Red Intense lips or Spiced Hot Chocolate eyes or Illegal Purple nails — the effect is dramatically delicious all the way.

While the lipsticks are priced at Rs 920 each, the MAC Lip Glass (lip gloss) costs Rs 870, the blusher Rs 1,080 and eyeshadow Rs 2,250.

And to help you perfect your look, the Calcutta MAC store offers make-up services as well. The Cult of Cherry line is available at all MAC stores across the country.

Wear your attitude

There is no end to shopping. Girls, check out the new collection from W, which has given its kurtas, tops and trousers a new twist. Its collection has been divided into four looks — Pretty Military, Palestine, Chanderi and Nordic Florals.

The Pretty Military range has kurtas, tops and dresses. Tops in the Palestine range come with bold prints inspired by the Middle East. Nordic Florals is a mix of colourful eastern European floral prints. Chanderi is Indian in look and appeal and is crafted out of sheer fabrics.

W has also come out with an evening wear collection — Wishful comprising dresses, skirts and tops. The collection is priced between Rs 499 and Rs 2,500 and is available at all W stores.

Watch this

Wondering what to gift your darling brother/sister this Bhaiphonta? Take a look at Tommy Hilfiger’s Autumn-Winter watch collection.

In this collection, Hilfiger has aimed for a stylish mix of materials and colour. Distinctive silhouettes, including classic bracelet and strap styles, are enhanced with signature details. The women’s collection features an array of oversized, multifunctional sports watches.

Men can try Edgewood — an automatic multi-functional watch with an Italian leather strap. It has a layered dial finished with the Tommy Hilfiger logo in the centre and is water resistant up to 5 ATM. The Galvin is a sports watch, which has been modernised with popular colours and has nylon and leather combination straps with contrast stitching and stainless steel bracelets.

The new collection is priced upwards of Rs 6,495 and is available at Tommy Hilfiger stores, select World of Titan stores, Shoppers Stop, Lifestyle, Central, Just in Vogue and other leading multi-brand watch outlets.
