Hyderabad: Fine bowling by R. Jesuraj and Shabbir Ahmed helped Chennai Superstars register an emphatic 35-run victory over Ahmedabad Rockets in a truncated ICL Twenty20 match at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium on Tuesday.
Jesuraj and Ahmed prevented the Ahmedabad batsmen from reaching the target of 143.
Brief scores: Chennai Superstars 135/5 in 16 (G Vignesh 38, R. Arnold 46) beat Ahmedabad Rockets (target revised: 143) 107/8 (D. Martyn 52; Shabbir Ahmed 3/20).
