Los Angeles, Oct. 11 (AP): Lisa Marie Presley is a mom again.

A publicist said the 40-year-old singer gave birth on Tuesday to twin girls, whose names were not released. One baby weighed 2.7kg and the other came in at 2.3kg.

A statement released today says Presley gave birth by Caesarean section. She lives in the Los Angeles area and the publicist says the births took place somewhere on the West Coast but didn’t give details. The statement said “babies and mom are happy and healthy”.
