Calcutta, Oct. 11 : Health minister Surjyakanta Mishra has blamed the Centre for allegedly disrupting vaccine supply, two days after a man in Thakurpukur died of Japanese Encephalitis — the first in a decade. “We had started the vaccination plan but shortage of supply affected the programme,” he said.

Fatal fall

Calcutta: Monika Das, 60, died after falling from the roof of her house on Netaji Subhas Road in Behala. The body has been sent for post-mortem.
