Freedom call

Development Credit Bank (DCB) has introduced DCB Freedom 1-2-3 Fixed Deposit scheme that offers 10.5 per cent interest rate to customers in the 375 days to three-year tenure. DCB also increased its interest rates for deposits of 91 days to 9 per cent from 7 per cent. The new rates will be given for deposits up to Rs 50 lakh. Senior citizens will receive 0.5 percentage point more above the card rates. The new rates are effective from this month.

Full of life

ICICI Prudential Life has launched LifeStage Assure, a unit-linked insurance plan that will provide up to 450 per cent of first year premium guarantee on maturity. The premium from second year will be invested after deducting the premium allocation charge. The LifeStage Assure includes a lifecycle based portfolio for investment and allocates the investor’s money across various asset classes on the basis of his life stage and risk appetite.

Firm bond

Aviva Life Insurance has launched IndiaBond, a single-premium endowment plan with guaranteed maturity benefits. This plan offers a compounded return of 7 per cent per annum

maturity. A policyholder paying a single premium of Rs 1 lakh for a policy term of 10 years will get a total maturity benefit of Rs 1,96,715 plus life cover.
