Mumbai, Oct. 4: The country’s foreign exchange reserves fell $153 million to $291.81 billion for the week ended September 26 from $291.97 billion in the previous week. Reserves had jumped $2.511 billion in the previous week. Foreign currency assets during the week dropped to $282.65 billion from $282.81 billion a week ago, the RBI weekly data said. Gold reserves and special drawing rights remained static at $8.69 billion and $4 million, respectively

Nagpur, Oct. 4: PowerGrid Corporation of India will set up 70,000-kilometre transmission line in the next five years, company chairman S. K. Chaturvedi said. The budget for the construction was Rs 8,040 crore during this fiscal, but it will be revised to Rs 12,000 crore to meet the future target.
