Mumbai, Sept. 29 (PTI) A youth was today arrested in Rajasthan for allegedly sending threat messages to Amitabh Bachchan demanding Rs 25 crore and a role in films.

In the SMS, Devi Singh Rajpurohit, 25, had told Bachchan the actor had only three days to live if he failed to pay him the money, joint commissioner of police (crime) Rakesh Maria said.

Rajpurohit has told the police he had “shot for some scenes” of the soon-to-be-released movie Drona as a duplicate for Abhishek Bachchan.
