Delhi duo

Krishnagar, Sept. 26: Delhi police today picked up two youths from Nadia in connection with the murder of a BPO employee in west Delhi last week. Manoj Saha, 18, a former help at Susmita Deb’s house, and Pintu Biswas, a rickshaw-puller in the capital, were held at Natna village, 180km from Calcutta.

Pipe death

Calcutta: Two labourers were killed and four injured when a pipe burst while a chimney was being cleaned at a liquor factory of IFB Agro Industries at Nurpur in South 24-Parganas, 65km from Calcutta. The dead were Ashok Majhi, 36, and Anup Naskar, 42.
