ICC agrees to meet ICL officials

Calcutta: ICC President David Morgan Thursday confirmed he had received a request from Subhash Chandra of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited to meet with him regarding the Indian Cricket League (ICL), says A Staff Reporter.

Morgan also confirmed that, following that request, he had agreed to meet with Chandra and other representatives in London on a mutually convenient date.

Jamshedpur: The Tata group’s safety concerns have now allegedly cost the steel city an opportunity to host an ODI, says Our Correspondent. “We have surrendered the India-England ODI slated for November 23 to the BCCI. We have communicated to the board the Tata Steel’s concern for the safety of the stadium,” said Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) secretary Rajesh Verma.
