Man robbed
Nagaon, Sept. 22:
Two unidentified men looted Rs 50,000 from an Assam State Electricity Board employee just outside the Nagaon branch of United Bank of India around noon today.

: Sonari police apprehended four members of a inter-state gang of car-lifters on Monday. A stolen Tata Safari was recovered from them.
Traffickers
Dhubri:
Two woman traffickers, identified as Surat Zamal and Nabin Nath of Ghunimari village under Chapor police station were caught by local people while attempting to lure a minor girl from Dholmara village to Delhi on Monday.
Section 144
Dhubri:
Dhubri deputy commissioner Jatindra Lahakar has imposed Section 144 in the district prohibiting the movement and assembly of more than five persons. The order will remain in force until further notice.
