Pepsi top meet

New Delhi, Sept. 5: PepsiCo’s annual executive committee meeting will be held for the first time in India.The meeting will take place in New Delhi on September 22-23. The PepsiCo executive committee meets once every year in different countries. The committee had its last annual meeting in Mexico in 2007.

Tea export

New Delhi, Sept. 5: Tea exports surged 53 per cent in volume in July on robust demand created because of low output in Kenya, while output increased five per cent. According to the Tea Board, exports surged to 18.16 million kg in July against 11.88 million kg in the year-ago period

RIL oil drill

New Delhi, Sept. 5: Reliance Industries (RIL) is likely to drill its first well in the two offshore blocks it owns in Colombia in 2010.

Tata Motors

Mumbai, Sept. 5: Tata Motors has fixed September 16 as the record date for determining shareholders entitled for the Rs 4,147-crore rights issue. Tata Motors will allot shares in the ratio of one share for every six equity shares of Rs 10 each held in the company.

BSNL plan

New Delhi, Sept. 5: BSNL plans to roll out 3G mobile services in the next six months. “We will roll out of 3G services in the northern and eastern zones by December this year,” BSNL chairman Kuldeep Goyal said.
