CPT lodge complaint

Calcutta Port Trust officially lodged a complaint with the IFA on Wednesday against Subair Muritala Ali of United SC, who allegedly bit Port Trust captain Srimanta Das on his back. The incident had occurred on Tuesday in a Sahara Calcutta Football League premier division match in Ranaghat. Srimanta had apparently kicked the United SC striker and Muritala subsequently retaliated. The IFA promised to look into the incident.

Kaviguru Rally postponed

Bengal Motor Sports Club announced the postponement of the Calcutta-Shantiniketan Kaviguru Rally, scheduled for Saturday, due to unavoidable circumstances. As many as 23 four wheelers and 20 two wheelers were to participate in the rally. The fresh dates will be announced soon.
