New Delhi: Indian captain Bhaichung Bhutia, who is still recovering from his hamstring injury, may not play in the Calcutta Football League (CFL) for a few more days.

Against Tajikistan on Wednesday, he suffered a cut on his lips that needed two stitches.

On Thursday morning, the AIFF president Priya Ranjan Das Munshi distributed cash incentives to all members of the team.

While each player received Rs 1,15,217, the national coach Bob Houghton was presented with a cheque of Rs one lakh. All the members of the support staff also received cash awards.

Das Munshi said that the AIFF would do its best to keep Houghton till 2011. In the evening, Bhutia and Sunil Chhetri met sports minister M.S. Gill.

According to Sports Ministry sources, Gill congratulated the two players and said he would do his best to promote the game.
