Nigerian Ayeni Bidemi Daniel scored as Port Trust beat Railway FC 1-0 at the Mohun Bagan ground on Wednesday to notch up their second win in the ongoing CFL Premier Division. Port now have 11 points from nine games and are a point behind East Bengal,who have played a match less.

Bhaskar feted

Former India goalkeeper Bhaskar Ganguly was felicitated by East Bengal on Wednesday, when the club celebrated the birth anniversary of their former secretary Dipak Das, known as Paltuda in the Maidan. “I’m very happy. I am honoured,” said the former India captain.
