Yoga for good life

Jamshedpur, Aug. 3: Patanjali Yoga Samiti, Jamshedpur, has planned to start classes based on the diseases of the people so that people of the steel city can be cured of them through yoga.

“We used to carry general yoga classes in the morning where everybody took part, but we thought it would be more beneficial if it was disease specific. This way we can also get feedback from patients and come to know about their individual problems,” said Julie Gupta, the former president of Patanjali Yoga Samiti, Jamshedpur.

Some of the diseases that will be addressed at the yoga sessions are - blood pressure, heart disease, asthma, cancer and diabetes.

Apart from just guidance, each patient will be analysed and a medical chart would be made according to their ailments.

The classes will take place in Dalma View Colony in Sonari.
