Imphal, July 31: Top-seeded S. Premjit Singh, along with three others, shared the lead with 3.5 points in the fourth round of the 1st Khongnang Pheidekpi state open chess tournament.

The result summary showed seven draws and 14 wins in the fourth round involving top rung players. The four current leaders, S. Premjit Singh, Rk. Apollosana Singh, Th. Sunachand and Rk. Sudhirsana Singh, had stale draw matches and thus ended the day sharing half a point each.

Trailing the leaders with three points are Rk. Bhogen Singh, Y. Dhanabir Singh, Kh. Bhubon Singh, Y. Dinsen and A. Romeo Singh.
