Chandigarh, July 31: The autopsy on Ishmeet Singh’s body suggests death by drowning but the 20-year-old singer’s family today spoke of a possible murder conspiracy and demanded a probe.

Uncle Charan Kamal Singh refused to accept that the STAR Voice of India winner, found dead in a Maldives hotel pool on Tuesday, had drowned accidentally.

Ishmeet’s viscera have been sent for poison tests and the final post-mortem report will not be released before the viscera results are received.

Ishmeet was cremated in Ludhiana today. The Punjab government has ordered a police probe.
