Calcutta: East Bengal coach Manoranjan Bhattacharjee wasn’t very pleased with his side’s showing but said that Ashim Biswas’s goal was “excellent”.

Speaking after Tuesday’s match against United SC, he said, “The goal will increase his (Ashim’s) confidence and the team will be more confident after this win, ahead of the big game against Mohun Bagan on August 5 and the Peerless game before that.”

The soft-spoken East Bengal coach praised the comeback man, Suleh Musah for his contribution in the game. Manoranjan said: “Musah is a 100 per cent team man. He always gives his best for the team.”
