Two for joy

Rituparna Sengupta is romancing no less than two heroes at a time these days. Even as Mon Amour: Shesher Kobita Revisited with Tota Roy Chowdhury and Saheb Chatterjee awaits release next Friday, Tollywood’s glam queen has gone on to sign Tumi Jodi Amar Hote with Ferdous and Saheb. There’s Vivek Trivedi too, but Rituparna doesn’t have a track with him.

Tumi Jodi Amar Hote is the debut film of Surajit Das, who will have Rituparna fall for a poor guy (Saheb) but marry a rich man (Ferdous).

“My role has been nicely etched out. I play Mina, a rich girl who loves Saheb but is forced to marry Ferdous,” chirped Rituparna, happy with the men in her reel-life. “This is my third film with Saheb, after Mon Amour and Megh Brishtir Khela. And Ferdous has been my co-star in a number of films,” she added.

Vivek Trivedi and newcomer Arpita play another couple in the film.

Calcutta apart, Tumi Jodi Amar Hote will be shot in Shimla, Puri and Hyderabad. Shooting starts in September.
