Style according to you is…
Anything thats comfortable and wearable. It should reflect ones personality. I always go with the mood of the day and hate flashy items.
Wardrobe classics that will look great even 10 years down the line
Faded jeans today will look more worn out and better tomorrow, T-shirts, kurtas and dhoti and formal shirts.
What kind of a shopper are you?
I hate shopping. I only go out to shop if I really require anything.
What do you like to mix and match?
I like the fusion look. I like teaming my jeans with ethnic kurtas.
Most extravagant buy
I recently made a stopover in Milan and bought a smart leather jacket from the Dolce & Gabbana there.
Favourite shopping destinations
I love shopping in Mumbai because you get everything from high-street fashion to luxury items here. My favourite shopping destination in Mumbai is the Lokhandwala market. Abroad, Bangkok tops my list followed by New York.
Favourite accessories
I love belts because they are the most versatile accessories. You can make a drab pair of jeans look great by wearing a nice belt.
Bad buys — which proved to be bad choices
Heavy motorcycling boots. I dont think I can ever wear them in India.
You have a fetish for
I am not brand-conscious but when it comes to buying watches I make sure theyre from good brands. I have a weak spot for Gucci, Armani and Fossil watches.
How would you describe your closet — well-organised and spanking clean or dreadfully cluttered?
I hate clutter. My closet is very organised and clean.

Have money, will spend…
Not at all. Necessity is the mother of my shopping.
The trend you are sporting at the moment
A funky pendant on my neck.
Your holiday dress code?
If in Calcutta, I love to wear just a gamcha (towel)! Jokes apart, I like casualwear with chappals.
Whose closet do you envy and why?
I am a fan of Amitabh Bachchans and love his suits. I also like Shah Rukh Khan for his T-shirts.
