Trainer Pesi Shroff’s hot-favourite filly, Set Alight, scored a runaway victory in the 2,000m Kingfisher Derby at the Bangalore races held on Sunday. Malesh Narredu, who partnered the winner, had the Razeen daughter settled in the mid-division of the nine-horse field before making her move in the final stretch for an almost a double-distance victory over Archipenko.
