New Delhi, July 7: Two-wheeler major TVS Motor Company is targeting a 10-15 per cent growth rate this fiscal on the back of four product launches.
We will introduce a few models this year
lets say two scooters and two motorcycles, said H.S. Goindi, head (marketing) of TVS Motors.
As far as our sales strategy is concerned, we will focus on the lower segment, which will help generate volume. On the other hand, our portfolio will also consist of premium bikes, said Goindi.
TVS sold 1.2 million units last year. Export contributed 11-12 per cent to the companys total sales, and TVS expects to scale it up to 25 per cent in the next three years.
New Apache
TVS today launched an advanced version of its 160cc Apache bike, priced at Rs 64,990 (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
The new Apache RTR FI, fitted with a 160cc fuel injection engine, will help TVS strengthen its position in the premium segment.
