Robbers arrested
Nagaon, July 3: Doboka police arrested three thugs when they were trying to rob four trucks at Doboka reserve forest last night. Two SBBL guns, two daggers and three army uniforms were found on the robbers, all of whom are from Dimapur.
IED found
Kokrajhar: The Red Horns division of the army recovered an IED from an abandoned house at Kaurani Bazar in Baksa district on Thursday.
Rebel held
Kokrajhar: The army arrested an Ulfa militant, Manik Baruah, from Athrighat on the Baksa-Udalguri boundary on Thursday.
Camp
Kokrajhar: A month-long free coaching camp for Bodo medium students of Class X began at Kokrajhar Government HS School on Thursday. Organised by Absu, the camp will cover maths, science and English.
Arrests
Dhubri: One Naidar Ali and his three sons were arrested by Bandihana police from Jharna village on Thursday for their alleged involvement in the murder of one Majem Ali on June 12.
