Dhoni up to joint 4th

Calcutta: Sachin Tendulkar, out of action due to a groin injury, moved up one spot to second while two unbeaten innings in the ongoing Asia Cup has pushed Team India ODI captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni by five places to joint fourth spot in the latest ICC ODI rankings for batsmen.

Tendulkar is now behind South African captain Graeme Smith (792) while Dhoni shared the fourth place with Australians Ricky Ponting and Mike Hussey, according to an ICC release.

In the ICC championship table, India remained at fourth place but with the Asia Cup still on, India can go third if they win their next two Super Four matches.
