All about dogs

Mohan Kapoor of Saanp Seedi fame who has made a comeback on television with Hadsaa has long been in a live-in relationship with actress Achint Kaur. Here he tells us about his fondness for his dog. Mohan barks: “Everyday, when I am at work and I call home, I make it a point to talk to my dog on the phone. He is very important to us. When we come back home after a long day’s work, his playful nature rejuvenates us. But for me, it is very necessary to also keep him disciplined.”Mohan adds with a laugh: “The funniest thing is that his trainer trains us as well. I keep telling the trainer, ‘Ghar ke saare kutton ko tum hi train karo’.”

A for airhead

After a serious role in Smriti Irani’s Virrudh, Mihika Verma is now playing an air-headed girl in the Balaji show Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil. So what next? She says she has an ace up her sleeve: “In Virrudh, my character went from being a bubbly girl to a grey-shaded woman, and the same will happen here. I might be playing an air-headed character but then you will see some grey traits in her. Soon an incident will happen and my character will turn negative.” Mihika finds playing Ashlesha “very challenging” for a curious reason. The actress laughs: “I do not find it difficult when Ashlesha is herself but when she is in a serious mood, I don’t know how to react because I don’t know how an airhead would react to a given situation. She cannot look intelligent nor can she look dumb and yet put her point across.”
