Calcutta: The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) named Anustup Majumdar as the Bengal Cricketer of the Year on Saturday. Wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha was chosen as the Gentleman Cricketer of the Year while Shib Shankar Paul was the Best Bowler of the Year.

The awards in the under-15, 17 and 19 age groups will be declared on Monday. The cricketers will be presented with the awards at CAB’s annual awards function on July 19.

Meanwhile, the CAB also announced that Paul will lead the President’s XI team in the P. Sen Trophy that will be held from July 7-9. The final match at Eden Gardens will be a day-night affair. Coloured clothing and white balls will be used for all matches.
