Silchar, June 25: Three bodies were recovered today from under a road bridge on National Highway 44, leading to Tripura from Karimganj district.

Karimganj town police were clueless about either the identity of the victims or the circumstances in which they were killed.

The police today said all the three men were murdered nearly two days back and their bodies dum- ped under the bridge at Durlavpur village under Suprakandi panchayat in Karimganj district.

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem to the civil hospital in Karimganj.
