A new kick

Euro fever has started in right earnest. But now you can get dressed for the grand show — in the right outfit for the matches. Sportswear brand Adidas, the official partner of Euro 2008, has launched an exclusive range for the tourney.

The highlight of this collection is the football-inspired graphic range featuring players. Take your pick from apparel, caps, stoles, bags and footballs in an array of colours. Symbols like the eagle for Germany and the rooster for France have been used as design elements for the T-shirt range.

Priced between Rs 529 and Rs 4,799, the Euro range is for men, women and kids and is available at all Adidas stores nationwide.

Keeping good time

Another one for those with both a watch and sports fetish. Xylys has launched Magnum Indigo, a Swiss-made chronograph watch.

The watch has burnished metal straps integrated into the case and retails for Rs 23,000. There is a tachymeter to measure the speed between pre-set distances. To protect the watch from wear-and-tear, there is a scratch resistant sapphire crystal cover with anti-reflective coating. Magnum Indigo is available at World of Titan showrooms and in select outlets.
